You should have seen me having the ?{:?#@???? scared out of me on my dad's farm by a leopard. That was 40+ years ago and there is still a trail of ****** as I ran like ??????. Well the double barrle that I fired ( I think both barrles at once , How do I know??) scared me more than the leopard and the baboons it was hunting. A Steenbuck exploded fron a small bush at my feet and I was 6 foot above the ground, running and firing the shotgun. And I still had 4 miles to walk back to the lodge. One's imagination runs wild as the night falls on the African bush and all the night sounds are amplified. I think the USA and bears are a little nicer than the African wilds

The warm blodded animals in Africa don't scare me nearly as much as the snakes do. I know what the statistics say about which are the most dangerous animals on the dark continent; I just hate poisonous snakes!
