unless you guys just like that slim grip .. i encourage you to pad the grip and give it a good
handle.. i m slowly getting to the point that i can hit my own bullet holes with surety at 10-15ft ..
ive never been this accurate with a handgun ..the improvement all started when i made the grip fit my hand..good luck.. this gun is growing on me..:)

What Keltec do you have and what grip pad did you add, and by the way what ammo were you using to achieve the results you noted.

its the little .380 .. ammo is dpx corbon.. the rnd was made for that gun the fps etc on the box is from shooting an kel tec .380. oh i hate to admit this .. the padding is duct tape covered with suede leather. but it feels wonderful in the hand..just keep your mag ejection clear.
i tried the corbon 90 and it jamed pretty bad .. the 80 penetrates the same and doesnt
ever miss a lick..it will shoot most any non plus p ammo ive tried so far ..but the dpx really runs smooth andive tested it on a deers neck ..thru hole with exit you could stick three fingers in...

Well, I would recommend to anyone that tries this to go with something firm for any sort of padding they use.

A ways back, I had a North American Arms Guardian in .32 ACP. It had a snappy recoil and the webbing between my thumb and index finger would end up being sore and occasionally develop lumps if I shot the gun a lot in one session.
So, I figured I'd try to find some sort of padding for the grip. I tried a little sleeve that Hogue makes, but it was rather weird to get on and I eventually gave up on it.
My brother told me that craft stores sell sheets of thin foam. So, I purchased some of it and superglued it to the backstrap of the grip (i'm pretty experienced with removing superglue, so I wasn't too worried about doing this). It certainly did reduce felt recoil, but the added slack resulted in the gun misfeeding pretty badly.
My hand has toughened enough that the .380 ACP Guardian I replaced it with doesn't beat up my hand that much, so further experimentation doesn't seem worth the effort.

How 'bout a piece of bicycle innertube. They work on Glocks.

It would be trial and error with the cutting to size. Cut to fit very tight. After you get one the way you want it,use it as a pattern to cut others.

One innertube should last you a lifetime.

Be aware though,it might try to grab material when trying to come outta a pocket, unless you put your hand completely around the rubber.

Let us know how it works. -----pruhdlr

don t put inner tube on a gun like a glock..one thing you don t need it and inner tube don t compare to duct tape .. any jimmy riger could tell you that.
.my gun dealer told me he heard that about the dpx 380 rd being from a kel-tec..if he said it,, it sounds alright to me..he can t keep the stuff in stock ,i know that..
i do know its the only protection rd ive tried,, that flows thru the kel tec .380 like it was made for it..now to be truthful,, i think the winchester flat nosed target rd might do worse damage than all ofum.. it runs thru the gun real smooth also..now i may have offended .. if somebody wants to wrap his glock in inner tube.. its a free country an who knows he may know something we don t.. so have at it brother..wes all in fun there brother.
