View Full Version : reloading supplies in Louisville ??
Several of us are gonna be in Louisville for the NRA convention, and were wondering if there's any place reasonably close to buy reloading supplies. Any info would be appreciated.

There are always some things for sale in the annual meeting's gunshow. Someone from the Louisville area will be needed to give you a more specific reply.

Go across the river to Evansville, IN. About 5 miles from the river is a big Cabelas or Bass pro shop one. Don't remember which it was, but they had all kinds of stuff there. I think it will be right of I-65 at the 5(exit 5) mile marker. Might google it to see for sure. I suspect there will be lots of stuff at the convention. I assume it is at Freedom Hall, and the exibition center is a big one.

georgeky-
It is Clarksville, IN and it is a Bass Pro shop. They have little in the way of reloading supplies. I was going to post it when I first read this thread. Seems this area is deficient in stores that stock significant quanties of reloading supplies.
Evansville is 2-3 hrs west of Louisville.

Bigfoot is right, the Bass Pro Shop is in Clarksville, IN. It is off Exit 4 on I-65. I visit that store about once a month. Nice place. I would also agree with his description of the reloading supply stock. There is 1 aisle, 5 shelfs high, and about 16' long devoted to reloading supplies. THAT IS IT. And that is the only place I know of that is relatively close to Louisville with any reloading supplies. If you live around here, as far is I know, you're pretty much limited to the internet for supplies. I do use Bass Pro Shop to buy powder and primers though.
