I have a Remington 700 .243 adl and was wondering if it was as easy as changing out the stock to a bdl to convert it and maybe a new spring for the lower door.

Basically all you need is the bottom metal, magazine, magazine follower and spring. You can inlet an ADL Stock for the BDL bottom metal. If you get a BDL stock then it's just a matter of changing out the barreled action. Everything else is just the same.

If you do that it's a good time to do a glass bed job and even piller bed your rifle. This will usually give you a 10 percent increase in accuracy and sometimes a lot better than that.
