Guys thanks for the help. I have been reloading for a while but was lost about casting the bullets. I have made about 600 for my 45 and a 200 for the 44. I learned I like the mold that drops 6 at a time alot better. I do have a small problem with the double cavity mold for the 44. It doesnt line back up right every time . I have to bump it real easy with a wood handle.. Did I get it to hot or something.. It does fine once it closes right. You can see its not lined up right. Its clean... Thanks again and have fun .

With the double cavity, I am assuming that you are using a Lee mould. I have found that even when I follow the directions carefully on lubricating the mould blocks, that when they are hot they can be a little sticky and that I have to take extra care to close the blocks fully.
The best way, in my experience, has been to close the blocks gently, and then squeeze slightly with my gloved hand. You don't hold it long enough to heat up the glove and you avoid damaging the mould.
