Hi guys & gals,
Glad to be a new member! I assume this is a dumb question but I searched and didn't find the answer I need. I have inherited hundreds of pounds of lead and precast bullets, tin and antimony pellets . Plus several Thompson center round ball molds. I know I should cast round balls from as pure of lead as I can find, which I have several old window weights which I believe to be pretty pure. I have a Lee lead hardness tester so I will test it. The rest of it I'm using for various pistol bullets from .41 mag, .40 S&W, 9mm to 38 spl.
My real question is , what brand of handles will fit the Thompson center molds? I haven't really tried to see if the lee mold handles will fit. It's cheaper to buy Lee molds as they come with handles than it is to buy new handles alone from the big name brands. Any inputs are appreciated.

T/C no longer makes moulds .. They afaik , actually never made them , they were contracted out ..

Shiloh originally made the moulds for T/C , then they had a spat , and for a very short time afterwards Ohaus made the T/C moulds ..

The original handles were brass IIRC ..

Shiloh handles will fit the T/C moulds ..

Also with Lee , it's a love/hate relationship for me , you get what you pay for .. I have a six cav 475 custom mould they made that I love and I have a few Lee's I hate ..
