Im looking to build a custom rifle for a trip to africa. Im a lefty so im looking for a left handed mauser action for either a .458 winchester or a .416 rigby. I know Charles Daily used to import them but i couldnt get any from them. Does anyone know where to get one or have one for sale? Thanks for the help

Finding a true large magnum action in a lefty may be a problem. Here's CZ's version of the long Mag action, but I don't think you can get it in a Lefty. You might check with Brownell's, they sold some custom actions at one time. I see Ruger may be making some left handed actions that will fit the 458 Win mag. The 458 Win mag will fit any action that will shoot the 300 Win mag and is actually a short mag.

Are you looking specifically for the 98 styling, or is controlled feed your deciding factor?
