This is what Winchester is saying.

Winchester is ramping up production to deliver the new Model 70 by June 2008.

Latest rumor I heard was the chrome-moly steels will be shipped to dealers in September and after the first of the year for stainless. This is hearsay from someone that was at the NRA show and talked to the Winchester reps.
