I've done it. I finally got my Para. I've looked for a long time for this pistol and I found it on Budsgunshop.com. Its been discontinued by Para, so it was getting pretty hard to find. I wanted a 1911, but I didn't want an ordinary one. This one is a 16-40 LDA, and I'll be using it for USPSA shooting. I'm also planning on using it for local bullseye pistol competition. Its already set up a bit, its got a fiber optic front sight, adjustable Wilson Combat rear sight, full length guide rod, lightweight trigger, and front and rear cocking serrations.

I have to say after all the years working on Smith revolvers and other double action guns the LDA trigger is one of the best I've ever felt. That's going to make a dandy outfit for you.

Thanks Bob, I've been wanting one for quite a while now, and the price was right. I paid $758 for it shipped with insurance. Used ones on gun broker are going for $900.
