I live in Huber Heights, and while living in town has it's conveniences, the one major drawback is that I can't just walk out into my back yard and start shooting. Do any of you know if there are any places around this area where I can shoot my .22 rimfire? I'm looking for a place I can take my wife and daughter target shooting. Thanks.

Try Troy Rod and Gun Club. Not too far from you. Since I live out in the country Miami Co.) and have my own range, I have no personal experience with them; but I do have a buddy who shoots there.

There's a newly renovated and re-opened range on Cassel Road in the Vandalia area, where my new muzzleloader club shoots. Cassel Road runs north from Little York Road, just yards east of the railroad tracks. They have a variety of indoor and outdoor facilities.

Glad to hear that what i quess used to be Miami Valley Shooting Grounds has reopened. Used to shoot there many, many years ago.
