Dear All,
I happen to own an air rifle model 54 RWS also known as Diana. It has a recoil less system which transfers the whole recoil to the rifle scope mounted on it. I have either broken the reticle or ended up with reticle dust with the following scopes.
1. Tasco World Class TS 6-24X44
2. Leupold Vari-X II 3-9X
3. Tasco Pronghorn 4X
4. Nikko Sterling

I am using one piece promounts with a stop pin. Is there a solution for my misery?

I've not much experience with air guns, but have read of folks having problems like you describe. It's my understanding that there are scopes built for the reverse recoil air guns apply to scopes. I'd probably look to some of those that are specifically built for air guns. I see some of those advertised in Cabela's air gun section.

Yup - if you don't put a specially made air rifle scope on your Diana, you'll continue tearing up the reticles. Regular scopes have retaining devices to hold the reticle in place only on one side. With the two-way action of the air rifle, especially the Diana with the action sliding in the stock, you need the air rifle scopes that have retainers on both sides of the reticle.

I have a Tasco 3x9 air rifle scope on my Mod 54 Diana and it works just fine.
