Boy Greg you and lots more folks. I've been offered a thousand more than I paid for both my little Suzuki Samari's and any small high mileage car around here has gone up in price a bunch.

You are right, the price on the good gas milage cars, have went threw the roof!! And I imagine there are a lot of people like me, I have been planning on Cowboy shooting for 3 years now, got all my stuff, but most of the shoots are over a 100 miles one way, my Dodge get about 10mpg, so I won't be shooting much this year!
Thanks Greg

I check pastures with an '89 Corsica that gets about 30 mpg and has about 150,000 miles on it! I guess I will have to get me one of those Honda Mini Trucks like my neighbor got that gets about 40 mpg when the car dies. They are about 4' wide, have a 6' long bed and have a cab small enough that if 2 guys work at it, they can fold up into it. Has heat and A/C, 5 speed trans., 3 cylinder motor, All wheel drive. My neighbor said he got his up to about 75 mph when he brought it home. It is supposed to be off road use because you cannot get tags for it. He keeps it loaded up with feed or fence fixing supplies and goes to town with it and has not been pulled over yet that I know of.

Kansas there's several outfits selling those around here. There made by several outfits including Suzuki and Sabaru besides Honda. Four wheel drive, 600 cc engines and good mileage. Sure wish you could use them on the Highway. There selling here for 5000 or so. There all a few years old.

The little trucks are being licensed as motorcycles/atvs here...

I've started to notice F250/F350 truck prices dropping like rocks around here... its about time I move on one of them. I ride my motorcycle whenever I'm not driving my company vehicle, I get about 52+ MPG with that.

This thread is about someone looking for a specific vehicle. Really shouldn't be on the board as it is not related to board policy. However, to help a guy out, it was overlooked.

This IS NOT an open thread for everyone to start a dialogue on vehicles, mileage and specifications. Let's get back to responding to the original request or, this too, shall be locked. Sorry, gcollins, if it does.
