There are several shooting events, Trap, Skeet, & Sporting Clays are the shotgun ones. Bullseye Pistol, High Power Rifle, smallbore rifle, smallbore handgun, muzzleloader, & Air rifle are the other shooting events.

I'm gonna be shooting the bullseye pistol (rimfire and centerfire combined) and Vintage High Power rifle. I shoot USPSA Action Pistol, but I've never done either of these segments of the sport.

Prior to this year I've skirted with the idea of shooting in the BSSG, but never got around to it. I'd also never really shot anything except stationary paper targets and animals that I was hunting. I really enjoy Action Pistol and it has made me a much better shot.
