I just finnished reloading 60 rounds of 44 magnum, I noticed that the rounds did not sit flat, and then I noticed a dimple in each primer, OOps , I used federal large rifle match primers in my hand gun loads. I don't believe that I have ever done that before. Are these rounds safe to shoot, or should I take them apart? The load is 24 gr IMR 4227 with a Nossler 200 Gr JHP

With a high primer they probably won't chamber in a revolver. They might work in a rifle. I'd pull them and start over. Usually a high primer will lock up a revolver, at least they did in my Smith 29 and the Ruger Redhawk.

Those Noslers are to expensive to waste. I would do as Bob said and pull them if you don't have a rifle to shoot them out of. High primers are heck on a revolver.

Yup, 'fraid so. When you resize/deprime, take it REAL slow so you just gently push the primers out. I've never had one go off doing it that way. If they aren't terribly distorted, you might even be able to re-use the primers - in plinking rifle loads only, as they might not go off. If then pulling THOSE loads down gives you dread, just toss the primers. BTW, my way of disposing of live but bad primers is to simply drop them into the lake the next time I go fishing. Yeah, some eco-head might have a conniption if he knew - but he ain't gonna know.
