Had been about 15 years since I have been back home in Mississippi and went walking around near where I grew up and hunted. Almost overwhelmed by the green since I have been living in Arizona, found the old metal boat, a couple deer tracks about 50yards from the house I lived in (they wouldnt have dared that 18yrs ago) and a butt load of ticks to pull off when I got back...but it was pretty overwhelming to wander my old hills and fields again after so long. Lot of good memories of my step father and grandfather out there hunting, I could almost hear the dogs running them in. The house and places are empty and the land is reclaiming them now. These are between Tula and Bruce for anyone who knows the area. Just wanted to share the photos....

Boy Rick what pretty country. After Arizona that had to be a shocker. I spent a year down there a while ago and was so glad to get back to Idaho and green again. It's not that there isn't beauty down there in the desert, but the summer was brutal.
