I have never used this cartridge but will be very interested in your results and those of other contributors. With an 85- to 90-grain bullet at just short of 1400 fps the .30 Luger, .30 Mauser and 7.62mm X 25 all compare favorably with the .32 H&R Magnum. The .32 H&R Magnum performs very well on critters with these bullet weights and at about 1250 fps velocity. The only problem I have with the cartridges is I do not enjoy crawling around in the dirt to pick up my empties.

I wish I had the specs for equivalents to the original Czech loads for the CZ-52 pistol. I had some Chech ammo for mine, but it was such a kick in the pants to shoot that I shot it all up. I have read that the CZ-52 was designed to regularly digest the submachine gun rated loads in 7.62 X 25. I can't cite a source for that info, but believe it's accurate.

I will say this -- the CZ-52 will reliably cycle loads in a very wide range of energy. Stay safe -- and enjoy.

I've encountered some claims that the CZ-52 was not in fact rated for submachine gun ammo and that there have been detonations of this pistol here in the US when fired with those hot loads. I don't have the time to look for definitive answers right now, but my earlier post may have been wrong. If I get some hard facts before someone else does I'll post them. I have fired somewhere in the neighborhood of 1000 rounds of Czech ammo through a single CZ-52 without damage or notable wear. It was clearly a hotter load than Sellier & Bellot, Olin/Winchester, or the Bulgarian ammo I have. More than that I cannot say for certain.
