I am a big fan of Winchesters in general and levers are my favorite.
I have 2 92s and they are a Kick to shoot and just have around.
I have an octgon rifle in 30/20 that is vey acurate and fun I have not shot it a whole lot but plan to take it on a camping trip next weekend
And get the rear sight drifted to just the right spot.
The other is a saddle ring carbine 44/40. This thing is simply a gas.
I recived it from a collector and took it out in the woods with some factory loads and it was dead on. The 1st round I put through it went right through the target dot at about 35 yards.
I want to get a scabbard made for it so I can take it on hikes and still have my hands free.
I want to get a 38/40, but mn these things are spendy !
I also have 1895 SRC in 30/40 Craig.
Its probably the nicest of the bunch. Built like a tank acurate and still a very efective hunting rifle.
I am having a new front sight made with a bead beacuse the origional is to short. I am 8 inches high at 100 yards. But Don't wory. It will be easy to put the origional back in place should I decide to trade or sell it...tj3006
