Please remember Mrs. Steelbanger (Carol) in your prayers. This time last year she had major cancer surgery and had been recovering nicely. Her most recent test, a Pet Scan, shows that cancer has returned to the original site and also to her lung.
Today we have appointments to begin determining a course of action, either surgery or chemotherapy. Pray we make the correct decisions.
Also, please remember Dianna Reamy in your prayers.
Thank you friends.

Prayers sent, would appreciate additional prayers for my sister, seems like it is cancer season. Brother in Law called last night with the news that she has spots on her lung, and the Doctori is pretty sure it is cancer. Her name is Beverly Brown.

Father. Watch over Carol today and through the coming days of decision and testing. Uphold them in with your righteous right hand. Place your shield of protection around them. If it is your will, let others see you, in them. Amen
Certainly. Will remember you both in our prayers.

Hello friends,
After much testing, consultation, and prayer, our course of action will be chemotherapy, beginning Monday, July 21st. Doctors believe a minimum of 6 treatments at 3-4 week intervals will be needed. What happens after that will be determined by the effectiveness of the chemo treatments. While we would like to see the lesions disappear, the goal is to reduce their size followed by surgery to remove them. I believe that is an accurate description. Sometimes my head is whirling trying to absorb all I hear and read. I try to keep notes and that helps very much.
Please continue to remember Carol in your prayers as these next 5-6 months will be most difficult. Most everyone that has had chemotherapy tells of how ill the medication makes them. This demon called cancer must be fought by any effective means even if the medications bring other sickness as a side effect.
While I wouldn't wish this affliction on anyone, my wife is probably the least deserving person to be so afflicted. She is a genuinely fine person, straight forward and honest, cares for everybody, always sees the best in everyone. I'll never understand how I got such a fine spouse but I've been thanking God for a long time.
May God bless us all,
Frank

Hang in there, our prayers are with you.
My wife had extensive chemotherapy and the anti-nausea drugs now are very effective. She had little trouble with being sick.
Stay strong for her.

First, I'd like to thank each of you for your prayers & concerns.
Carol had her first Chemotherapy session yesterday, a very long day. She took more medication yesterday than I have taken in the last 30 years! We also came home with 6 prescriptions and have to visit the hospital today for an injection which will help with white cell production. This morning she feels good but we were told she'd feel good for a day or two before the onset of any sickness. If everything happens as it should then her next Chemo is in 3 weeks. She has had her hair cut very short in anticipation of losing it but even with all her troubles she manages to look very good and have a cheery disposition and a most positive outlook. I try to mimic her attitude but am not quite as successful.
Please keep Carol on your prayer list. My list is so long that I trust in God to remember some of the names I placed there, the important thing is to have those names on the list. Remember too in your prayer Dianna Reamy.
