anyone know the differences between these models? physically they look the same.

I have owned Model 311 shotguns and was never clear on the differences. Maybe an email to Savage Arms at www.savagearms.com (http://www.savagearms.com) would provide some clarity. All the best...

I have a 311A;it's a 16 gauge.
Numrich Arns lists these models for the 311:
A,C,D,E,F and H
Also ussing common parts are the Models 5100,530,and 530A.

so the parts are interchangeble, internal and things like the buttstocks?
