I want to convert my straight grip stainless steel M1895 to pistol grip. I believe the parts I want to trade are: Trigger Guard Plate; Lever; and perhaps Tang Screw.

I want the same parts, correct for pistol grip stainless steel M1895.

I also have the M1895's straight grip walnut buttstock and foreend. I am not interested, though, in walnut pistol grip versions. Possibly the laminated birch, though. I would be interested in laminated birch in ROSEWOOD or BROWN/BROWN color. I am also interested in a stainless steel pistol grip lever whose lever is larger than Marlin's without being grotesquely oversized.

DRC may make the lever you are after. I found this at Midway USA, it fits the 1895, but its not cheap.

Many thanks. You have solved two problems with one reply. An oversized, but not grotesque lever is what I want. And I have possible trades with people who were uncertain whether 336SS levers were identical with M1895 XLR levers. I went to Midway, searched for DRC, and discovered that Mr. Clay makes different levers for 336 and M1895 pistol grip actions.
