So a few days ago I was scouting out a buddies property well realy I was just going to check out where he had set up the feeders make sure they where ok and check the game cam. I was going to be in the area so I called him and told him that I was going to stop by the camp. (he owns the property) He suggested that I bring a gun incase I see any hogs and gave me permmision to take any I would like. Its legal to take hogs year round on privat property and you dont need a huntin license. I grabbed my Remington 870 and a couple boxes of Brenneke 3 inch black magic sluggs with the 18inch barrel installed. Grabbed the G30 stuck in pants and whent out the door to go run my errins. My soon to be wife said she had nothing to do and wanted to go along for the ride. After errins where done i headed out to the camp along with my tag along. Pulled out GPS and headed to the location of the feeders. It was about 1pm when we got to the feeders. My soon to be wife has never been hunting before but is a darn good shot and goes to the range with me often. She has taken the required hunters education course but has never wanted to go. She had a bizzillion questions about the feeders and a multitud of other things. We often shoot Pig or Deer Targets so she knows where the vitals are. I decided to show here around the property and the camp sight where we pitch our tents. She asked me if she could carry the shotgun. She likes guns. I figgured why not I was not planning on takeing anything the shotgun was mostly just cuz I was going into the woods and she is a better shot than me with a long gun (but I dont admit it to her). We walked to the camp sight and to my supprise there stood a good sized 150-175lb pig right smack in the middle of the clearing. Not 15 yards infront of us. We where standing side by side. It was broad side to us and looking away. I turned and looked at her, I wanted to quickly take the shotgun away and blast the pig but decided naa. I did not want to turn here away from hunting she is not too into killing things she usually grabbs me if a bug is in the house. She looked at me winked shoulder the shotgun and blasted the pig right infront of me, and racked the shotgun. I was in dismay and dumbfounded. Thats the last thing I would have expected here to do. Here is where it gets even stranger. The pig just turned its head and stared back at us with a dumb founded look and was frozen in place. Fearing the worst that she might have just missed I yanked out my G30 I was ready to send a hail of bullets at it if it came our way. I glanced back at here and noticed that she never lowered the gun and had a real pissed off look on her face, you know the look every man fears. The shotgun erupted again sending a slug right into the snout of the pig and out the back of its head takeing a large chunk of skull with it. It flopped in place. She racked the shotgun again loaded two shells into it to refill the mag and gave me a smile and said I'm bringing home the bacon. :D I fell in love all over again. Upon inspection of the critter here first shot was true right through the shoulder just above the heart and out the ribbs just behind the shoulder. I have now idea how it just stood there and looked at us! Both lungs where hit and the heart was dammaged not smashed though. It would have not made it far. Then again I am sure my adrenilin was pumping like crazy so everything was in slo mo it was probably only a second or two. I pulled out my knife and immediately started field dressing it The truck was only a few hundred yards away and i was glad I brough a cooler and a bag just incase. There is a filling station not that far away where i can get more ice. She walked up along side me cleared the shotgun and set it down on the picknic table near where i started the cleaning process. She tapped me on the shoulder and said show me how to do it. I was once again floored and stared at here blankly for an unknown amount of time. She took the knife from my hand and said where do I start? On our way home I asked here why she shot the pig. She said she knew I wanted to shoot it but did not want her to be grossed out. She decided that she may not have that chance again and wanted to know if she could handle it. So I asked here why she shot it again. She said she though she missed and felt like the pig was teasing her and she did not want me to tease here about the miss and thought I was going to try to kill it with my handgun and she realy wanted to eat some wild pork for dinner. (we had none at the house). She told me she wanted to field dress it to see if she could do it. I asked here if she wanted to go hunting with us this year she said no and i asked why. She said that hunting was something I did to go hang out with my buddies thats why she never accepted my previous invites, she said it was guy time. At this point I dropped it and did not know what to say. I told my buddie what she said and he called here and asked here to come. She accepted and now we have a new hunting partner. This makes me :D :D :D

Sorry no pictures I asked here if she wanted to take some and she stated there woud be in here opinion to grusome to show so we did not take any.
