Faucettb; I took your advice and bought the ProChrono....Had it out to the range today for a shakedown, and it worked like a champ! I ran some loads from my 444 and my 44 Mag through it, and it didnt miss a lick! Also, A buddy of mine ran some "known loads", that were run on another chrono through it, out of his 45-70, and the ProChrono was only a few feet off on those loads..........I think only one load that he shot was 7 fps off (and that was the maximum out of all the loads he shot) ....I dont think thats too bad!!!! When I got home, I turned the ProChrono back on and all the strings/shots from my morning of shooting were stored, so I could reveiw the information. I had the ProChrono set up 10 feet from the bench, and even with my poor eyesight, I could read the display easily, and record shot for shot velocities. This little unit is everything you said it was, and I appreciate your input on the post concerning this subject!! Thanks again! FT

Glad it worked out for you. I used my buddies for a while and liked it so well I bought one of my own. The feedback from Midway also helped sell it to me. I've shot in the evening til it got to dark to shoot. Great little machine for the money and sure a great asset to my reloading equipment.

Flashhole; He deserves the big head this time...his info was right on!!!
Faucettb; I believe my shooting bud will be using mine as well, and he couldnt believe that something that worked so well costs so little. Being electronically challenged, I find the best part about this unit is the simplicity of operation........and, that is what most likely makes it so good. It will become an important part of my load development "tool kit" as time goes on! Thanks again! FT

If that's the case, we'll just have to deal with his enlarged head because I've also gotten some great advice from Bob regarding getting started in reloading - I've got no complaints with any of the gear that I bought and I bought what I did based on reading Bob's posts on the subject. :)

So ....... when Bob can't get in his house because his head won't fit through the door and the weather turns bitter and he catches a cold ..... his bad health is on you.
