Anyone shoot cast in an AR ? Reccomendations for mold ? For loads ?

Short answer is don't even try it or you'll regret your decision.

There are a lot of discussions on this on the Cast Boolits website. I tried it with my Dad as a boy, in an AR that did not have a forward assist, and chamber fouling was a real problem. Jacketed bullet availability would have to be a lot worse before I would get back into that.

If you have a more recent barrel with a more rapid twist, you may have some interesting problems.
