If I start scrounging wheel weights to use for casting bullets will I need to add anything? I will probably cast bullets for a .38 special and maybe some rifle rounds. Thanks for the help.

I use mainly straight wheel weights for my cast bullets without any problems. I use mostly the Lee tumble lube molds for my 38 swc bullets. Just cast, lube and shoot.

Thanks for the information. Would the same hold true for .30-30 and .45-70 rounds?

I size my 30-30 and 444 bullets with the exception of my Ranch Dog mold which doesn't need sizing. You will have to measure your bullets after they drop from the mold to see if they need sizing. A lot of mine are within +.002 of the bore diam so I don't have to size them. Those that are larger than that I size. Each mold is different. Cast bullets seem to shoot better if they are a little oversized but worse if undersized. But that is the fun of it, you get to shoot more figuring out which size shoots better in each gun.
