My new Colt .22 Tactical M4 finally got here. Opened the box and the dust-cover latch fell off. Wasted all evening trying to get this thing to fire. Won't feed rounds from the magazine. When it does try to load a round, the round hangs part way or the bolt won't close.
--Tried loading a cartridge with my finger, but it didn't fire. Then it wouldn't extract and a cleaning rod was used to drive the un-fired round back out of the chamber. Another $600+ wasted.

Try contacting Colt and see if they will take it back. I picked one up the other day and they look pretty cool, but I can't afford one.

Gun will function fine with CCI mini-mags or Stingers, any bullet with a knurl on the bullet will definitely jam or not even load! I have no problems with the CCI, try them and see, or if you are using them and it won"t work I would be p o"d too!

Stingers was the first brand I tried. Sent gun back for a replacement. Will be another two weeks before it gets here.
