and Lyman 452424 255gr? The other lyman 452423 is 240gr. Also who sells these?

Try Midway or Lyman for the 452424. The other looks to be discontinued so one of the auction sites, perhaps.

Fantastic ! Thankyou !! Now if I can find out who can make the Lyman 452424 SWC that would be awsome. Isnt that a 255gr slug? I think Mr. Elmer started with the 454424 and then later something was changed on the design and recalled 452424.Any idea what that change was?

Diameter. 452424 should cast a smidge over .452" while the 454424 is the same bullet designed to cast a bit over .454". Most modern pistols use a .452" groove diameter while the old .45s used to use a .454" groove diameter. A .452" mould may actually cast large enough to use in a .454" barrel.

Take a look at RCBS. They used to have some .454" moulds.
