Pretty good question. Does show that you're keeping your cases seperate and are keeping very good records, both are things most of us have to learn the hard way.

Doubt there are any set rules, but might be worth it in the long run to cut two cases in half length wise, a new one and one of your multi-loaded ones, and take a good look-see.

For me, decided that brass has given me all it has to safely give once it's been trimmed the 3rd. time. Will NOT get a 4th trim.

Brass lengthens at different rates for a lot of reasons, but the big one is loading pressure. Lite loads need trimming less often, max. loads a lot more often. Regardless of how it got to the 3rd trim, once that lot of brass is trimmed the 3rd time, it's reserved for lite cast bullet loads.

If it ever grows long enough to need a 4th trim, it is metal salvage time. Usually I'll lose it in a cow pie, over board in the swamp, or just step on it ending it's life before lengthening to max. again.

27 is impressive imo. Are you fl sizing?

For benchrest shooters who are neck sizing in dies with correct diameter neck bushings so that no expander ball is needed, it is not uncommon to hear of 50 reloadings being accomplished. I saw one fellow who claimed to have got to 70 or 75 (don't recall which). This assumes some regular annealing, as well.
