Our pastor gave his annual sermon on giving today. It was actually pretty good. At the end he told this joke.

A man approached his pastor and said "Pastor, I need your help and prayers."

The pastor replied, "Of course! What is the problem?"


"Well pastor its like this. I have always tithed. Back when I was poor and making $50 a week I would always give $5."

"Then when things were better and I was making $500 a week I would swallow hard and give $50."

"But now that I am wealthy and making $5000 a week I just can't bring myself to put out that $500."

Pastor replied, "I understand. Shall we pray together?"

"Yes, Please!" the man replied.

Pastor started, "Heavenly Father, please reduce this Brother's pay to $500 a week so that he can tithe again."
