I would like to develop a load that is more powerful than 22mag, but more quiet than the 2800 fps 55 gr pills I have been shooting.

Have you tried them in a Chrome bore, a steel bore, with moly spray, with small charges of pistol powder?

I absolutely love the "gopher load". Vmax 35 grain with 14.0 gr of blue dot.
