Nice to have you. I found a Mark X mauser in .458 Win Mag for cheap and am trying to 'tame' it, hope to shoot a pig (Texas version of the griz) one of these days. Surprised how accurate it was. We'll see if the 400gr. Speer holds up at ~2,000 - 2,100 fps.

MY .416 IS BUILT ON AN OLD VZ 24 8MM ACTION. I SHOOT 350 GRAIN SPEER MAGTIPS. THEY RUN ABOUT 2800FPS.
