Starline claims they will begin production of .45 Auto-Rim brass at the end of November 2003. I called them to confirm it is true, but if you like their brass and like .45 Auto-Rim, call their toll free number or e-mail them through the website to let them know you would be interested in their production of this brass. It would be great if Cor-Bon and Buffalo Bore who are current loaders of Starline brass, would work with Starline to make a defensive JHP +P and heavy cast loads for .45 Auto-Rim as factory loaded ammo.

Man, nobody else wants this? Any other .45 AR fans out there?

I shoot my S&W 25 with 45 auto rim frequently, using moderately heavy target loads. My model 25 would be a bit bulky to carry for personal defense when I can have the same power at my disposal using a 1911a1, in a smaller package.

The model 25s are really not made for CCW use, the advantage is it can use the same ammo as the 1911 and especiall in .45 Auto-Rim can shoot some heavy bullet loads. Starline brass in .45 Auto-Rim would be made heavy and great for heavy target or hunting loads.
