I have a Colt Commander chambered in 9mm luger and I have been having a problem with it stove-piping rounds. Has anyone else expierenced this and did you find a remedy.

What magazines are you using? The few problems I've had with stove-piping was always traced to defective magazines. ==Bob
I've had stovepiping that was caused by an extractor problem in a 1911 style pistol before. I fixed it by taking it to a good gunsmith and he fitted a new extractor to the pistol, never had any problem again. Unless you really know what you're doing with a 1911, you can usually cause yourself more problems by trying to fix it yourself.
If you are using light handloads in the 9mm, bring them back up to full power before you consider there is a problem with the pistol. Too heavy a recoil spring can also cause problems, as well as lack of cleaning.

I'll second pourboy's suggestion. If the problem persists with different magazines and/or ammo choices, I'd have a 'smith look at it. On the rare occasion I had a problem with my own Commanders, it was directly caused by one or the other.
