I talked to my sister-in-law tonight.Her 35 year old son has been diagnosed with stage 4 melanoma in his left lung and the lymph nodes in his left armpit.His name is Ed Collins.

He is scheduled for approximately 7 hours of surgery this comming Friday.The Drs. will be removing his left lung and the lymph nodes from his left armpit.

He is a Christian and is trusting the Lord,however his wife and children are having a very hard time of it.

I ask that you would pray for a healing for Eddie and comforting for his family.I ask also that however the Lord answers,His Name will be glorified.

Thank You,
Your brother in Christ,

WC

Wildcat, at the same time that Ed is in your afternoon prayers, he's remembered in my morning. How's the lovely hymn go,

As o'er each continent and island
the dawn leads on an other day;
the voice of prayer is never silent,
nor dies the strain of praise away.

Thankyou for sharing the privilege to pray. The Lord bless Ed and you.

God is awesome,

He always answers prays and not always the way we would want it answered. I am very pleased to here that Ed is doing so well under Gods grace.

Let us always glorify His name.

Praise the Lord.

Ed Collins seemed to be doing fine until a few days ago,tests revealed cancer in the adrenal glands and lymph nodes that drain the lungs.

Please put Ed back on your prayer list.

Thanks,

WC

My prayers and thoughts of healing go out to you and your nephew. I know all too well the horrors of having cancer, the uncertainty, and helplessness that comes with it. I'm just a little older than Ed, and am still recovering from thyroid cancer which had spread to my lymph nodes last year before I had two surgeries to remove them both. He is in for a rough time, but please let him know that this can be beat, and that the power of prayer works most definately. Tell him of how trusting in Him will help guide the hands and hearts of his doctor's and surgeons, and how he can use this experience to help others in times of need and sorrow.
I don't normally come right out and reveal all this to everyone, but in this case I think it's appropriate to show you that even total strangers can understand and communicate His love and healing to you through prayer, and I for one need to return the favors I asked of strangers in my times of sickness and sorrow. May God bless you and heal you and Ed; just pass on this little favor in the future.

Thank you Micheal, I figure after all my medical problems I''ve got some kind of job to do, a purpose in life, so spreading hope through His word is a small price to pay.
God Bless;

WC,

It is as you ask! The Franks family will be lifting the family of Ed up in their prayers for comfort and strength. Man I've got to know that Ed is feeling great and loving eternity with his Savior. To think that we will one day join Ed in his Masters Kingdom. How glorious!

Can't wait but I've got things to do for the Lord right here. Praise God in all things. Thanks for sharing and keeping us up on this situation. Sorry but I just read this tonight for the first time but the prayers are as important today as they were yesterday.

Carl and his family is lifted up to the Lord for health, comfort, strength and joy. Ask and it shall be given. We are asking. Praise God and may he always be glorified.

God bless and keep you all,
Greg
