Could some one with a nosler load manual give me some help. I have a box of nosler solid base 85 grain boattail ballistic tip bullets. I believe the bullet number is 43004.
All the powder I have right now is Win 748 and imr 4350. Also if you have used this bullet, and caliber for that matter what your favorite powder to use is. Many thanks.

According to my Nosler 5th edition, they recommend a start load of 43.5 gr of IMR4350 and a max load of 47.5 gr with the 85 gr BT.
My personal best load with this bullet is VihtiVuouri N135 - seems to be more consistant. Also, IMR 4895 worked best with the 100 gr bullets.

kdub,
Hey your the one that repied to my other post.
Thanks again for looking up the information. I loaded up 20 rounds of this on Sunday night. 10 43.5 grains and 10 at 44 grains. The rifle having not arrived yet I pushed them back to max col.
I am at best 10 days out from getting this rifle and getting to shoot it. The wait is terrible.

Understand, Crookedshot -
I feel the same waiting for the time to pass before loading up and heading out on my deer hunt coming up next week.

Crookedshot,
I wouldn't be afraid to give the 4350 a try. I used it with a 75 gr V-Max in my .257 and got good consistency and pretty accuracy - that rifle was never a tack-driver for me. The 4350 also gave me the highest velocities with all the bullet weights I tried (75, 100, 115, 120). It's worth a shot - all rifles are individuals!

imr4064 117 sierra was a pet load of mine for my rem 722. imr4320 and 87gn hornady for my ruger 77. These combos were for bench shooting at novelty matches, 1.4 stick of tnt, chicken eggs, balloons at 200yds.

Swany,
Did you load your 722 to plus P levels?

No the thing shot get this, 35gns of imr4064, into one hole groups. I do have another 722 action with 25/06 and let me tell you that thing is shooting a +P+ level or H4895 and that 87gn hornady. 1-12 twist, miltary 06 brass(small capacity) Federal 215BR is the only cup that will hold up without blowing one of five. This rifle shoots one hole groups, in the 220 swift speed limits. So if you are looking for a strong action? And want to know if the 722 can take it. It can. Just be aware of all the pressure signs and take the action to a good smith to have it checked out. After all the 721 and 722 and 725s are all quite old. 725? first one I ever seen was in .375H&H
