Mine barely lines up with mine i think is a #11 nipple, found out i got a hotshot nipple and its bigger and like to use it,but i know it won't line up just looking at it. What can be done to line the hammer up dead center?

Bravo2,
Assuming the hammer is steel. Remove the hammer from the lock. Chuck it up in your bench vice. Use a propane torch, get it hot, then bend/beat to fit. Quench with motor oil. Wire brush and polish finish as desired. It will be a trial and error thing. You might have to repeat the process a couple of times until you get the fit you need.

You can also use this process to make an offset hammer when scope clearance is a problem.

We had the same thing with a Traditions Deerhunter. I shimmed the lock until the the hammer lined up.
