Hey guys,
A friend of mine has a .264 and wants to hand-load for it, does anyone have any good info or know where to find it. Already tried load-swap and it only has 2 loads, neither of the two acceptable
Thanks,
JB

It's in any number of loading manuals, and online -
http://www.hodgdon.com/data/rifle/264winma.php
Looking for any specific load/bullet weight?

JB:
Try www.loaddata.com, it costs $14 per year to join. It's the Rifle and Handloader Magazine database of loading data, constantly being updated. There are 3 pages of .264 Win Mag data. Most loading manuals should have the data.
Here are some selected loads all from published data:
140gn. Nosler Partition, 63.0gn H1000 powder (starting load) to 68.0 gn (max load).
140 Sierra Sp. BT, 51.3 gn IMR4350 (starting load) to 59.7 gn (max load). Sierra recommends 55.5 gn IMR4350 as the accuracy load.
120 gn. Speer Sp, 54.0 gn H4350 powder (starting load) to 57.0 gn (max load).
120 gn. Sierra Sp. BT or Matchking, 53.0 gn IMR4350 (starting load) to 60.3 gn IMR4350 (max load). Sierra recommends 56.9 gn IMR 4350 as the accuracy load.
Do not reduce minimum charges in this cartridge. Use of magnum primers is advised. Watch the difference between IMR and Hodgdon 4350 they are slightly different, don't substitute.
Also try the powder manufacturer's web sites, they usually have a downloadable basic manual.
