They struck down the gay marriage ban and sent it back to the legislature. At least they did not order the issuance of marriage licenses to those bringing the suit.

I keep thinking of what God did to Isreal when they turned to sin and made it an acceptable part of society.

The way I read this they are going to give the legislature a certain amount of time to change the law to comply with their ruling. If not, I'm sure they will take more forcible measures.

Sadly, Mass is following the perverse lead of Canada.

Psalms 9:17 The wicked shall be turned into h ell, and all the nations that forget God.

It's getting worse and worse, just like the bible said it would be. It's time God's people stood up for the word of God. He gave the promise in II Chron 7:14 "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves and pray and seek my face, then will I hear from Heaven, and will forgive their sins, and will heal their land" (puctuation probably incorrect since it was from memory). God has already promised us, now we have to do our part. As for me, I have no animosity towards any sinner, since I am one myself, but we can't stand by and give up and let the wicked continue to mock God and his word. There are things God says we are to fight for.

I viewed a commercial this morning around 5:30 AM advertising two videos of college girls exposing themselves and had many clips of lesbian acts. This was on the "Spike" network which is part of basic cable. I couldn't believe my eyes. What has become of this country. I am embarrassed to be living in the USA when we advertise this garbage to our children. I look for the downfall of America in the next 10-20 years as we become increasingly evil.
It really saddens me.
Please, don't vote Democratic - vote Repuiblican. They are the lesser of the two evils.

According to the Bible, we are bringing curses upon our country. Read Leviticus 26 in it's entirety. This chapter is very enlightening.

I have read that chapter years ago.
I am no saint but it's easy to look like one as the majority of folk in the world are Godless, immoral people who tolerate anything and everything.

I am ashamed as an American to have the world view the filth that passes for entertainment that comes out of the United States. How we can complain about any other nations morals is beyond me. There are times when I can understand why so many nations seem to revile us. First remove the log from your own eye before you offer to remove the splinter from your brothers eye.

What really baffles me on this one is where a court gets off on forcing a legislature to pass laws of their choosing. Last I checked this isnt how our system of checks and balances work. Sure, a court can declare laws unconstitutional- but they are vastly overstepping their bounds in giving orders to the legislature. Its just the only way that they can force their agendas upon people who dont want it.

At the risk of incurring some extreme personal comdemnation from some of you, I, for one, do not equate the desire of homosexuals to engage in a legally recognized loving committed relationship with the other types of immorality described in this thread. Check this site out: http://www.religioustolerance.org/hom_bibl.htm. The bible was not written in english. It is a shame that various translators have manipulated the words of the bible to further their own political or social agenda. For the record, I am not homosexual, but I do not equate the desire of homosexuals to be married with some of the other truly immoral things we can see on TV.

America is on a crash course for the woodshed.

Sodomy is a sin and how convenient that we have "religious" folks attempting to tell us that the church has been wrong for 2000 years and the bible does not say what it says.

A "loving and committed" relationship? It's disgusting filth which God both hates and will judge. The following excerpt is from one of the nation's homosexual leaders. It is from the L.A. Times, March 12, 2004. She describes in her own words what the true agenda is:

Paula Ettelbrick, a law professor who runs the International Gay & Lesbian Human Rights Commission, recommends legalizing a wide variety of marriage alternatives, including polyamory, or group wedlock. An example could include a lesbian couple living with a sperm-donor father, or a network of men and women who share sexual relations.

One aim, she says, is to break the stranglehold that married heterosexual couples have on health benefits and legal rights. The other goal is to "push the parameters of sex, sexuality and family, and in the process transform the very fabric of society."

Group wedlock? Networks of lesbians and sperm donors? Sick, sick, sick unto death. Next it will be children and farm animals.

2 Peter 2:17 These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever. 18 For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error. 19 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.

America seperated church and state. Religion should have no bearing on such decisions. I mean if legislature does allow gay and lesbian marriages how will it effect you as in individual? Will you get mauled on the street by a man wearing a pink tube top? I could honestly care less if a man wants to marry a man, that is his choice. I do care when a politician tries to pass a law or bill denying a law because it "goes against the bible". I have nothing against the bible, however this is why this great country left England, so that the church would not rule us.

I agree with MightyPirate...gays are getting no benifits from the government compared to married couples. They deserve equal rights.

In Massachucetts, the state marries couples. Since there is nothing on the books defining that union as solely between a man and a woman, the Supreme Court said MA has to recognize same-sex marriage.

As a wedding photographer, it's wonderful stuff.

Same-sex marriage is not going away. Love is the one thing can cannot be denied.
