98+% condition...original blue plastic box, rings and papers. I'm off to a gunshow this weekend...want to return home with either cash or a new toy :D

Find out what the average going price for this exact model (BRAND NEW) is in the region where you live or gun show is being held (if not in same region ,city etc.). Guns in 98-or better % usually will sell quickly if they can be had for 100.00- 125.00 dollars less than new. The super redhawk in my region can be had for 550.00-600.00 new . the guns we take in on trade , even in mint condition , won't move unless priced accordingly. Iknow that the ruger is practically indestructable as we'll as you , but the average joe used gun buyer has to overcome the superstitions related to the used gun market. given the choice between a mint gun in the box sitting next to a new one , even if both are unfired, will always go new unless some serious coin can be saved. If you plan on selling to a dealer be prepared to take a hit below the belt to the tune of 30-40 % less than that. After all he has to find someone to purchase it off of him(or her ) at the same price point over a new one.

Thank you Sir. Good point re: dealers. Betwixt that and Oregon's asinine Measure 5 which impacts private parties selling guns at a gun show, I'd best sell it by other means.
