I have tried the teflon tape and the gorilla anti sieze grease when using 777 with my NEF Huntsman both sucked and would sieze up after shooting a few shots using 777. After 10 to 20 shots at the range I would have to tap the breech plug wrench handle with something to break the breech plug lose. I mean Tap like in some good raps on the handle to break things loose. I was sent a sample of the Militec grease and 0il. I thought what the heck the next time I shoot I will try the Militec grease instead on the anti seize grease. WELL WAS I SUPPRISED!!!! The breech plug turned out with no pressure at all just like it had been cleaned and greased with out shooting it. I had shot 20 shots at the range today and the breech plug cane out slicker than snot on a hoe handle. This is great stuff folks I highly reccomend it for breech plugs on black powder guns expecially shooting 777. Jim
I've been using plain ol' wheel bearing grease, or the old fashioned water pump grease on the breech plug of my T/C Blackdiamond in-line with pretty good results.

Got a email back from them they liked my suggestion that it is good for black powder guns and will explore that market. It sounds like they are going to package it in more convenient form for this instead of the grease gun tube it comes in now. Jim

Got some replys from some folks at a differnt forum that I posted this that said they are still having problems. I have found it pays to put grease on the whole plug not just the threads to get it to back out easily and to make sure you use enough grease also. I even put a thin layer of grease on the front end of the plug. Just do not get any in the hole of the front of the plug and you will be fine. Jim
Where can you get this Militech grease. Can't find it doing a google search.

Sorry should have posted this earlier. it is at www.militec-1.com They have a spot on the web site where you can ask for a free sample. SO you can try it with out buying a 14 oz tube. Ask for the oil and the grease. Stuff works great. Jim
