Kahr wins this competition, handsdown. I own a Kel-Tec .40 so I'm not a Kahr salesman and it's a good pocket gun, for the money, but it's no Kahr. The Kahr is much better made and much more accuarate. If your looking for a reliable point and shoot pocket gun, buy the Kel-Tec. If you want a gun that's accurate, reliable, and well made go for the Kahr. Cost of the Kel-Tec will be about 200-300 dollars cheaper than the Kahr. The trigger pull on the Kel-Tec is very heavy and will keep you from any target work. It will do for across the room type shooting, but won't win any trophies. The Kahr is widely used by police for a backup pistol, or hideaway type gun. Both are easily concealed and lightweight.
I have a Kel-tec 9mm P-11.
As Big Blue stated, it's not really a target gun - very heavy DAO pull. It is reliable, in that it has fired every time I've pulled the trigger, is compact and pretty simple in construction.
I wouldn't put it in the same league with th Kahr, by any means.

I can put my P11 in my trouser pocket and draw cleanly every time. i'ts meant to be a CQB shooter, and the trigger weight I think has been exaggerated. Mine is quite smooth and I can quickly double tap milk jugs at 20 yards no prob. Target gun it isn't, nor meant to be, but it uses the same magazines my Glock 17 does so that's a bonus. For approx $230.00 its a good value.

I don't like plastic guns from any manufacturer, so that answers most of the question. But compared to the very well finished and smooth Kahr, the comparison really comes to a crashing stop.
Get the Kahr.
