Desert Eagle 50AE. Hand cannon. Love to shoot it. Love to see the looks on everyones faces at the range. ;)
I have an issue, however. Out of a mag, 2-4 of the ejected cases come straight back in my face. I wear shooting glasses, but its still unnerving to have that chunk of brass wizzing at me.
Anyone else have this problem?? What is the fix, if any??
Thanks...:)

Apparently that is a common problem with DE .50 AE. I was going to get one, well, just because. I did quite a bit of research on the DE .50 and found quite a few people complaining of face hits. Since it was for a toy anyway, I decided I would just stick with my .50 AK Encore. Some thought it had to do with one lessening one's grip, others disagreed. From what I read there was no consensus as to the cause or the fix.

Stretch0069 I have a Desert Eagle .44 mag that I converted to the .50 A.E. and had the same problem. I worked on the ejector to give it more angle to eject it in a differnt direction away from my face. A good pistolsmith should be able to take care of this problem. Bobby

Thanks for th info. Yeah...I should have mentioned that its a conversion on an originally 357 frame. Magnum Research said that I could put the XIX slide on the VII frame.
Except for the occasional face hit, its a load of fun. People usually put a mag through it...hand it back to me, and say "****......" :D The flame out the end is awesome. I have tons of pics and video of it. Just too cool.
