Folks, if you are at a magazine rack you might want to keep an eye out for the magazine "Big Game Adventures." It truly does cover big game hunting all over the world, and nothing but big game. It is also very colorful and since going to a quarterly schedule it is also pretty thick. The downside: a bit amateurish from a production and layout standpoint. Ads and editorial copy tend to run together and stories are sometimes retreads from known hunting writers or journalistic indulgences from wannabes. I don't mean that to sound too harsh. Big Game Adventures is a magazine that I look forward to and if you haven't spent years in the publication business you will probably overlook the foibles. Check it out.

Good thought, Sunday Creek -

Another I've subscribed to since it's inception is the Wolfe Publications "Successful Hunter" magazine. Darn'd good stories and, being a Wolfe publication, tasteful and expert layout/editing/writing.

I have found that any magazine published by Wolfe is very good with far superior articles and advice to all other shooting and hunting magazines. In over 40 years of reading them they are about all I currently subscribe to now.
