HI,

New guy here who wishes to know if anyone has any info on Horn/TC SST 250/300 gr. sabots with 3 777 pellets.

Rifle is a Knight disc with 26 in barrel with scope and I'm looking to see if anyone has any results on deer at 200 yds.

I currently use Hornady's H2K 12 ga. slug which will print 5 shots within a 3 inch circle at 200 and downs deer with no problems from 100 to 200.

The SST looks as if it would have better ballistics with the 3 pellets.

1.5 MOA with a 12 ga slug gun? I'd say that's good enough and not worry about a muzzleloader, especially since I can have another 4 followup shots if needed!

Just got done sighting my gun with the Hornady 250 gr SST's. I was mainly using 3 pellets of Pyrodex. This was a super accurate load from my T/C Encore. One inch groups at 100 yards. The 200 yard groups dropped 11", and the 300 yard groups dropped 28". I did shoot one 200 yard group with 3 777 pellets. It went into 2 1/2" for 3 shots. Still have more work to do with 777. Want to chronograph it compared to Pyrodex. As to the Hornady SST's, I hope to test them on a doe tonight.
