Any one know where i could get a derringer? im looking for a caliber such as .45 ACP. .32 Mag, 9mm, maybe .357 magnum or .22 WRM. Double barrel would also be nice.
Why not the 45/70? They are available.
If you're a bit of a wuss, the .45/410 might be suitable also. :)

i Shot a .45/.410, nice gun. but im looking for something of a smaller bore, preferably in a magnum load.
The only one I've ever fired was made by American Derringer. They have what you're looking for.

How about a High Standard Double Action .22 Magnum Derringer?
They're not bad at short ranges...

I carry the American Derringer in the DA38 model as a backup. Shoots .38spl +P 125 grain Rem Golden Sabers well enough. It's a little heavy in the pocket and has a heavy trigger pull but has always functioned. Definately a close range weapon.
