I have been trying to figure out the best way to get a rock solid setup for sighting in a scope on my SRH 454.
When I rest the barrel on a V bag and place the butt on another bag, the bench or my hand I am still getting lateral movement. Does anybody know a way to steady this? I am having a little trouble getting consistantly tight groups that would indicate where adjustments should be made. Groups at 75 yards are generally spread 8 inches laterally
I am also very interested in hearing what kind of groups I can expect from this sixgun at 75 - 100 yards.
Thank you very much in advance for any help or insight.
Cliff

Maybe what you are looking for can be found in the January 2004 edition of SHOOTING TIMES. On page 21 a company named Versa-Rest makes a handgun rest holder. The website is www.lonestarfieldproducts.com.
