Bid on a 7mm(7x57) belgium mauser with a sporter stock, and won the bid. Rifle got to gun shop today. Did all the paper work on it which means I can pick it up x-mass day (well have the shop open for 4 hours so the people can get their new x-mass toys). Wife saw it and handled it said very nice "THANK YOU"??? last one I had my father-in-law gave me. It was a 93 mauser that came frome one of the guards at awshwits(sp), his brother was one of the first u.s.servicemen thru the gates and the last german out the back gate decided to turn and fire one last round. Bad Idea.
The 93 is now part of the family with instructions it is to be passed down thru the generations. Guess will have to go find me another 7mm ifin I want one.

GREAT GIFT !! I love my BSA 7x57. it was my grandfathers and its taken more deer than any other rifle we have.(actually it was origianallly grandma's but their house in Alaska burned down along with Grandpa's extensive gun collection. The "little 7" is the only rifle that survived the fire since it was still in the truck after the last hunt.)
