How do I insert a photo? Every time I hit the "Insert Image" the screen just flips over. I am running XP.

It seems a bit contrary at times, that's for sure. Do you have Javascript enabled? Are you running a software firewall like ZoneAlarm?

I turned the firewall off but still no go. How do I make sure Java scripts are running?

It'll be in your browser options, somewhere. In IE it's Tools - Internet Options - Security - Custom Level then scroll down toward the bottom.
At lot of pop-up blockers will interfere with JavaScript as that's how many pop-ups work.

I do it by going down the Forum window to "Attach Files", click on "Manage Attachments" & then choose the pic file which I want to attach. There's a 106kb ish limit, but otherwise I've had no problem.

Comme ça. That's a camera bag on my hip, not a .357

You can do it the way I do it if img posting doesn't work, and for me it usually doesn't. First, copy the address of the picture you want to post, such as the address of an HK pistol is: http://www.hk-usa.com/images/uspexpertrt.jpg
At the beginning of the address add a set of brackets with img between them like this: , then type or paste the address of the picture and then add another set of brackets with /img between them, like this: , use no spaces between the sets of brackets so your data line looks like this: addressofpicture and the picture shows up like this:

As I posted elsewhere.
Adding attachments is a mite tricky. Click on "Manage Attachments". Type in the drive, directory and file name in the usual C:/dir/file.ext format or click "Choose" and navigate to the file. Click "Add this file". Be sure it's name appears in the box below. Click on "All done" when you've selected all the files you want to attach. I attached the little fellow below just to be sure I got it right.
Bye
