Hello,

I'm fairly new to my area and was wondering if anyone knows of a good rifle range somewhere within a 50 mile drive of Goldsboro. Only thing I've been able to find here is a 50 meter indoor range. I'm looking for something at least 100 yards. If anyone can help, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks for the link, I hadn't looked there before, you got my hopes up. Unfortunately there were not any within easy driving distance.

You might also check with some of the local gun shops. There are many private club ranges in NC. The people at the gun shops usually know who to contact.

Not me, no hunting license. I've only "hunted" targets in my backyard. The land behind my lot has signs saying it is leased by a hunting club. Eventually I might find out more about it.

Are you USAF? I thought there was an outdoor range on the base somewhere. Of course, it was over ten years since we were there. Think of me when you are eating at Wilbur's, or Parker's in Wilson.
