Hello all,
I was converting some old pictures to digital and found some you might like!

This one was taken near Logan, Utah.

Here is "Mrs. Shooter" fishing in the Weber River, near Ogden, Utah. (We lived in Utah before moving to Idaho.)

Last one for today - Here is Jr. riding with his Grandpa, on his Grandpa's ranch in Montana.

This picture is about 9 years old. Grandpa hasn't changed much, but Jr. sure has!!

Hey ID,
Thanks for the look into your life with the photos, puts a personal touch into the forum. My wish is that more of our members would share pictures of their families, friends, and outings.
Thanks again,
Bryan

Were those photos of shooting the .270 taken out at the Fernan Gun Club?

Trying to place where you were shooting.... my best guess.

Marshall,
They were taken at the Cd'A Rifle and Pistol Club. We go to Fernan, too, just not much in the winter! :)

I've never shot at either. Go by the Fernan Gun Club when I go out that way to hunt the N. Fork of the Cd'A, but that's about all I know of it, just the bird's-eye view up above as you climb up over the hill above the range. I've set up a range here on the place with a permanant roofed benchrest and backstop berms at 50, 100, and 150 yds, with a ridge on the north side of the property being the final and definitive bullet-trap. Truthfully since we built this place, I haven't shot at a single other range. Too bad too, because there are some really great people at the range as a general rule... kind of miss that at times.... but heck, when the range is only 200 feet from the shop, it's hard to justify driving to a range to shoot.

Thanks for the pix!

When I lived on the east coast I was able to shoot right on our property - I have shot groundhogs out the bedroom window! It was all farm country then, but has grown up recently, and I don't mean in a good way.

An interesting note about the CdA club - when it was built, they were afraid to put it farther out of town because people might not be able to get to it on bicycles or in winter. Now they are putting housing developments all around it. It's just sickening. The prairie's going to be gone in 20 years or so. Houses all the way from CdA to Spokane, I'm afraid. Eventually we're going to have to move to Antarctica to get away from crowds. Either that, or a really good plague...
