What makes the Redding profile crimp more advantageous over standard roll crimp dies such as those used by RCBS or Lyman? Is the crimp more uniform?

It appears to me that the profile crimp is like a cross between a roll crimp and a taper crimp. Works like a charm.

When I get customers reporting problems with heavy revolver bullets jumping crimp under recoil of the big boomers, the Redding Profile Crimp Die is the only one that I can confidently recommend that will positively cure the problem!
